Great SBA experience for a great local establishment

Jersey Lilly Saloon is a mainstay on Prescott, Arizona’s historic Whiskey Row.  It’s long been an important part of the community, providing both locals and tourists an inviting place to socialize and listen to classic rock while enjoying the best view in town from Whiskey Row’s only balcony.

Josh Makrauer and two partners bought Jersey Lilly Saloon in May, 2017; within the first six months, one partner had been bought out.  In March, 2020, with the aid of an SBA loan, Josh was able to buy out his other partner and become the sole owner.

In addition to allowing Josh to buy out his remaining partner, he was also able to consolidate his debt, reducing his monthly payments and simplifying accounting.

Thanks to Josh – and his SBA funding – Jersey Lilly Saloon will remain an important contributor to the town, one that raises over $40,000 annually to light Prescott’s courthouse square during the holidays, doing its part to help the city earn its title “Arizona’s Christmas City”.
