Together with the Central Indiana Community Foundation and other area businesses, First Internet Bank was a proud sponsor of Community Night at the haunted house at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. The event, held October 4, gave 680 children from thirteen area community centers a preview tour through “Skeletown.”
Every year since 1964, the Children’s Museum Guild has operated the haunted house to raise money for the museum. In addition to free admission on Community Night, each child in attendance received dinner and a free Halloween costume.
“What a terrific event,” said David Becker, President and CEO of First Internet Bank. “The haunted house is always a draw for the Indianapolis community, and it was a delight to see the reactions of the children throughout the evening.”
One hundred volunteers from the Children’s Museum Guild will spend an estimated 12,000 hours to create and operate the haunted house, which opens to the public October 16.
