Getting Into the Pipeline with SBA

For Jacob and Shara Digenan of San Diego, CA, 2022 began with their dream of business ownership becoming a reality. On January 3, the couple finalized their purchase of Affordable Drain Services – a well-established drain company in the San Diego community.

Like many small business owners, the key was a 7(a) loan from the Small Business Administration (SBA), funded through First Internet Bank. Jacob notes, “If we had not gotten this loan, we might not have been able to purchase the business.”

The Digenans were originally referred to their Business Development Officer (BDO) by a Center of Influence (COI).

“Our BDO went over and above our expectations by always being available to answer questions and helping to get the loan approved.” Shara said, “He was extremely patient and helpful throughout the entire process.”
